Alliance MMA (NASDAQ: AMMA) is a mixed martial arts organization that hosts live MMA events in many major markets throughout the United States. The company completed the IPO phase and their stock began trading on the NASDAQ Capital Market on October the 6th. Alliance MMA, Inc. was incorporated in 2015 with the sole intention of acquiring other mixed martial arts promotions. Since then, the company has gone on to acquire a handful of organizations, including those listed below.

On January the 10th, Alliance MMA announced yet another acquisition. The company has acquired SuckerPunch Entertainment. SuckerPunch is widely known as a fighter management and marketing company, with more than 100 fighters around the world under contract. The acquisition closely aligns with the company’s strategy of acquiring related companies. The company has worked diligently and recently added live video production, a fighter management firm, and automated ticket sales. The combination has allowed the company to establish various revenue streamed via numerous mixed martial arts related businesses.
SuckerPunch will allow the company to generate revenue in the form of fighter purses, as well as sponsorships for promotions and fighters. SuckerPunch has been in the business for nearly 10 years. During this time, they have gained recognition by working with some of the top fighters in the world, including several UFC, Ultimate Fighting Championship, fighters and titleholders. They have worked with Max Holloway, Jens Pulver, Carla Esparza, and Joanna Jedrzejczyk. SuckerPunch strives to make sure each of their clients receives the best management service, while simultaneously working to find them a permanent home.
Thanks to the acquisition, Sucker Punch will now operate under the Alliance MMA umbrella. Alliance MMA hopes to eventually host at least 125 events during each calendar year, while assembling a roster of more than 1,000 fighters.
