Today, AMC and Comcast unveiled a brand-new upgrade option for Xfinity television customers. Fans of AMC’s shows, such as The Walking Dead and Into the Badlands, now have the chance to upgrade to AMC Premiere and enjoy premium content and experiences. For instance, members of the AMC Premiere service will be able to enjoy the newest episodes of current season shows ad-free. In fact, the newest episodes can be viewed without ads at the same time as the live broadcast.

The service also provides subscribers with access to first-look and exclusive content and curated movies. The soft launch happened today. AMC plans to add more content and features over the course of the summer. While the ad-free content will be enough to attract many, AMC Premiere will sweeten the offering by adding additional enhancements, such as original content, curated movies, trailers, and bonus scenes. Exclusive interviews with cast members and showrunners will also be available through the AMC Premiere platform.

Xfinity TV customers that have a subscription will be able to access AMC Premiere through their set-top box, mobile app and the Xfinity Stream website. The service will also be made available through AMC.com and AMC apps over the next few months. The AMC Premiere service is available for just $4.99 a month.
