AT&T is one of the leading telecommunications companies in the United States. The company offers Internet, television and mobile telephone service. This week, the company submitted a WARN notification with the Missouri Department of Economic Development. According to that notification, AT&T Communications will soon be carrying out a restructuring. As a result, it will discontinue its Credit & Collection center in Kansas City, Missouri.

The facility is located at 2121 East 63rd Street. Other operations will continue at that site. There are 87 non-management employees at the location and all are expected to be separated from employment, due to the upcoming restructuring. The employee separations are expected to begin on February 17, 2018 and be completed by March 14, 2018. 82 of the impacted employees are revenue management representatives, while five are senior records clerks.

Bumping rights will be governed by the collective bargaining agreements between AT&T and the Communications Workers of America. The full WARN notification can be found here.
