This week, Bosal Industries-Georgia Inc. submitted a WARN notification with the Michigan Workforce Development Agency. The letter explains that the company will soon implement a mass layoff at its Ypsilanti, Michigan facility. The layoffs are expected to begin on April 12, 2018 or within the 14 days thereafter. All separations will be completed by April 26, 2018 or within 14 days thereafter. The mass layoff is expected to be permanent.

In total, Bosal believes that 77 workers will be impacted. Some of the workers are represented by labor unions. Bumping rights will apply for some of the workers. The full WARN notification has been made available here.
