On February the 15th, the D-Link Corporation officially made their new Omna 180 Camera available for purchase through Apple’s official website. The camera will also be made available in Apple stores throughout the world later this month. The collaboration goes beyond simply being able to find D-Link products in Apple’s retail establishments. It is also important to note that the Omna 180 Cam HD is the first of D-Link’s products to be compatible with Apple’s HomeKit.

Thanks to the HomeKit integration, users will be able to remain home no matter where they’re located. The camera features highly innovative security features, as well as end-two-end encryption and authentication from the camera to the consumer’s iOS device. When the camera detects activity inside the user’s home, it will immediately alert them with a notification.
