Datapak is a provider of order management, order fulfillment, ecommerce website development and marketing services. The company works with clients from various industries, including beauty, fashion, household goods, medical products, and even automotive accessories. On December 7, 2017, Datapak Services Corporation submitted a WARN notification with the Michigan Department of Workforce Development.

According to that WARN notification, the company will soon be carrying out a mass layoff and closing in Webberville, Michigan. Two locations will be impacted by the action. A leased facility at 1093 Highview Drive in Webberville is currently home to five employees. The Webberville facility is expected to be closed permanently on or about March 1, 2018. As a result, all employees assigned to that facility will lose their positions.

Employee separations will also impact the company’s facility at 1000 Austin Court in Howell, Michigan. The first separations are expected to occur during a fourteen-day period starting on January 31, 2018. The layoffs are expected to be permanent. In total, Datapak believes that 56 employees could be affected by the layoffs. None of the workers have bumping rights nor are they represented by a union.
