The company will be a perfect fit for Ecolab, which is a leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services. The Georgia-Pacific business supplies products and applications that add strength, softness and durability to paper. Ecolab believes that these products and applications will enhance its position in the Tissue and Towel market and the Packaging and Board segments.

During 2016, the business managed to generate revenue of roughly $43 million. Ecolab anticipates that the transaction will be completed before the end of the year. Terms and conditions of the transaction were not disclosed.
