The FOX News Channel (NASDAQ: FOX) is widely considered to be the most popular twenty-four hour new channel in the United States. Much of the network’s success can be attributed to their on screen personalities. Today, Fox announced a brand new program featuring digital politics editor Chris Stirewalt and The Five’s Dana Perino. The new television program will be titled Perino & Stirewalt: I’ll Tell You What and is expected to premiere this coming Sunday, September the 18th, at 5PM Eastern.
Perino and Stirewalt are not strangers by any means. The couple has a weekly podcast with the same name. According to FOX’s official press release, the show will feature unscripted conversation, live reports, and the latest from the campaign trail. The co-hosts of the show will be accompanied by a rotating panel, which will offer unbiased insight into the 2016 presidential race. The couple’s podcast was created during the presidential primary and was praised for its commentary of candidate performances and possible strategies.
Since the show’s origination, it has become a top 10 podcast on iTunes, with episodes available for download through iTunes, TuneIn, RSS Feed and Google Play. Dana Perino has been a Fox News contributor since 2009 and is best known for co-hosting The Five. Before joining Fox, Perino served under George W. Bush as the White House Press Secretary. Stirewalt has been with FNC since 2010. His primarily duty is to serve as digital politics editor. He is also known for hosting FOXNews.com’s Power Play.
Again, Perino & Stirewalt: I’ll Tell You What will debut on Sunday September the 18th at 5PM Eastern. The show will run through the election cycle and will conclude on Sunday November the 13th.
