Earlier this week, Inland Institutional Capital confirmed that an institutional fund under its advisement had acquired Lower Makefield Shopping Center. The shopping center, which is located in Yardley, Pennsylvania, houses a grocery and drug store. Senior vice president of Inland Real Estate Acquisitions, Matthew Tice, facilitated the purchase on the fund’s behalf. The Makefield Shopping Center is anchored by two respected tenants, a Rite-Aid pharmacy and a Giant grocery store.

President of Inland Institutional Capital admits the decision was very strategic stating, “This retail center fits well with our belief that grocery and drug store-anchored shopping centers continue to benefit from consistent consumer demand and limited online competition.” The Lower Makefield Shopping Center is located at 698 Stony Hill Road in Yardley. Other current tenants include the following.

  • The Frame Game
  • Redberry
  • Anna Nails & Spa
  • Custom Cleaners
  • First Beauty
  • Indian Garden
  • Venezia Pizza
  • Yardley Bagel
  • Mail N More
  • First Choice Bank

Simultaneously, a 2,040 square foot property is currently vacant. The available space expands 74,953 square foot. Additional details can be found here.
