The company is headquartered in Southfield, Michigan. On December 14, 2017, Janesville Acoustics submitted a WARN notification with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. According to that notice, the company will be completely closing its Richmond, Indiana facility in the first week of August 2018.

The entire operation will be closed and all employees at that facility will be impacted. The company expects the closure to be permanent. Operations and activities by the company’s sister company, Jason Incorporated which is doing business as Osborn, will not be impacted by the closing of the Janesville Acoustics operation. The company expects the first employee separation to begin on February 17, 2018 or in the thirteen-day period after that point.
