Lee Enterprises is a publicly traded media company. It publishes 46 daily newspapers in 21 states, as well as 300 weekly, classified and specialty publications. This week, Lee Enterprises submitted a WARN notification with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. The letter served as notification that Lee Enterprises would soon be closing two call center operations in Indiana. The closures are expected to be effective on March 30, 2018.

One call center is located at 601 West 45th Avenue in Munster, Indiana. The other one is located at 2080 North Main Street in Crown Point, Indiana. All other operations for Lee Enterprises and The Times will continue to operate. As a result of the impending closures, roughly 93 employees will be laid off. The workers include customer service representatives, customer service supervisors, call center analysts, and call center operations managers.
