This week, Microsoft sent a WARN notification to Oregon’s Rapid Response Coordinator. The notice follows up with the company’s previous notice, which was sent on July 10, 2017. In the previous notification, Microsoft announced that it would be eliminating 61 positions. According to the new notification, Microsoft has decided to reorganize and restructure operations.

As a result, this will lead to the elimination of 50 additional positions at the company’s Wilsonville, Oregon facility. The facility is located at 26755 SW 95th Avenue in Wilsonville. All 50 positions will be permanently eliminated as of January 5, 2018.

The impacted employees do not have bumping rights. Microsoft also plans to eliminate additional positions at the aforementioned facility. Position eliminations are scheduled to occur on or after December 5, 2017 and January 22, 2018. All impacted employees will be terminated on February 8, 2018 and March 23, 2018.
