The Super Bowl is generally one of the most watched events of the year. Until recently, Nintendo shied away from shelling out millions to advertise their consoles and games during the Super Bowl, but that will all change this year. At this year’s Super Bowl, Nintendo will show offer its new console, Switch, and its hottest title, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The company has purchased a 30-second spot for their advertisement. The star of the ad will be the Nintendo Switch. The advertisement is schedule to air during the Super Bowl’s fourth quarter on February the 5th.
The Switch gives gamers the ability to seamlessly switch from a home gaming experience to a hand-held gaming system. Gamers will be able to play on their televisions at home and then grab the Switch and take it with them anywhere they go. The ad will also give the audience a closer look at The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The game has been heavily hyped by critics and fans alike. Finally, Nintendo’s Super Bowl ad will feature a brand-new song from Imagine Dragons. The song, “Believer”, is now available on iTunes, Google Play and other platforms.
