Novatel Wireless, which is an Inseego Corp. company (NASDAG: INSG), announced the launch of the new Wireless Home Phone T2000 on June the 15th. The phone will be available exclusively from Verizon Wireless at retail stores and through the company’s official website. Consumers should expect to pay $29.99 when they sign a two-year contract. The LTE wireless home phone solution for Verizon Wireless provides consumers with a variety of benefits, including unlimited domestic calls. The service is $20 per month or $10 per month for current Verizon Wireless customers.
Users will have access to common services, such as E911 and voicemail. The T2000 also possesses an informational display and fax support. Novatel believes their new phone is the perfect upgrade for Home Phone customers and consumers that wish to transition to a wireless home phone service. Over the past few years, many American households have decided to cut the cord and make the switch to a wireless home phone service. This allows customers to save money, while also being able to take their phone service with them anywhere.
The T2000 is the first home phone service with the LTE technology at Verizon Wireless. The phone features dual RJ11 ports for phone and fax. It also has an RJ31 port for home security systems. This feature is expected to be available after the phone’s launch. With a 1,800 mAh battery, the phone can prove to be a lifesaver in the event of a power outage. The battery delivers 3 hours of usage and at least 33 hours of standby time. Other features possessed by the T2000 can be found below.
- 1,800 mAh battery with 33 hours of standby time
