According to the company’s letter to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, the Industrial Process Filtration Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation will soon be shutting down its plant in Tell City, Indiana.

The facility is located at 2002 Main Street in Tell City. The company anticipates that the closure will be completed on or around September 30, 2018. Currently, the plant is staffed by 78 workers. 61 of the impacted employees are represented by the Chicago and Midwest Joint Board of Workers United labor union. These workers will have seniority bumping rights.
