On Friday, Acting United States Attorney Betsy Steinfeld Jividen announced that a St. Mary, Virginia woman had pled guilty to a theft charge. 57-year-old Anne Louise Hall pled guilty to a single count of theft of government money. The defendant admitted to collecting social security benefits under false pretenses.

The crime took place between October 2006 and March 2017. At the time of her sentencing, Hall will face a maximum of 10 years in prison and a fine of $250,000. Her sentence will be based on the seriousness of the offense and prior criminal history.
