SureID offers fingerprinting services. Earlier this year, it was announced that Sterling Talent Solutions would be acquiring the commercial segment business of SureID. After that, the commercial segment continued to operate under the name SureID. The company’s non-commercial segments began operating under the name Fortior Solutions. On November 8, 2017, SureID Inc. submitted a WARN notification with the State of Oregon.

The letter explains that SureID, which is doing business as Fortior Solutions, intends to end the employment of roughly 25 employees currently assigned to their Hillsboro facility. The workers at the 5800 NW Pinefarm Place facility are expected to be laid off between November 8, 2017 and January 24, 2018.

Earlier this year, Fortior announced that it would be laying off more workers. The WARN notification explains that approximately 300 workers assigned to Hillsboro will be impacted by the layoffs. The company laid off the first group of workers on May 8, 2017. The full WARN notice can be found here.
