Earlier this week, the Tennessee Virtual Academy, TNVA, announced the open enrollment period for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year. The TNVA is an online program associated with the Union County Public Schools in Tennessee. The school is open to all students residing in Tennessee in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. Students enrolled in the program will receive an exceptional learning experience thanks to an individualized approach.

Students receive education through online instructions and hands-on curriculum with assistance from teachers licensed by the state of Tennessee. The academy offers a wide array of courses, including core classes such as English, math, history and science. Elective courses such as music, art and world languages are also available. Teachers working with TNVA provide students with instruction, guidance and support. Interactions with students and parents can be carried out via email, digital classrooms, phone, online discussions, and even face-to-face meetings.

Since TNVA is classified as a public school, there is no tuition. The tuition-free virtual academy gives parents and students access to an engaging curriculum and educational tools provided by K12 Inc. Interested students can now enroll in TNVA for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year. School officials strongly encourage all parents to partake in one of the school’s online information sessions hosted monthly. Enrollment information and details regarding upcoming events can be found at http://tnva.k12.com/.
