On January 30, 2018, Toledo Molding & Die Inc. submitted a WARN notification to the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services. According to that notification, the company will soon be reducing the workforce at their Toledo, Ohio plant. The facility will also be closing. It is located at 300 Phillips Avenue Suite 2002. The plant will be closing, due to Fiat Chrysler Automobile’s decision to award the next generation Jeep Wrangler production of the instrument panel assembly to Detroit Manufacturing Systems.

The company expects the plant to close on April 2, 2018. As a result of the closing, it is estimated that 120 company employees will be separated from their employment. The separations will be permanent. All impacted employees have already been notified of the plant closing. Some of the workers are represented by the UAW Local 12 union.
