On February the 8th, TT Games, which is a part of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, announced their acquisition of Playdemic. TT Games is the developer of the best selling LEGO video games titles, such as LEGO Dimensions and LEGO Star Wars. Playdemic, which is based out of the United Kingdom, has become one of the most respected mobile game companies. As a member of TT Games studios, Playdemic will help the company bring the LEGO franchise to the small, mobile screen. Playdemic currently has an employee base of 33 staff members.

To date, the company has released a handful of successful titles, including Village Life and Golf Clash. Together, the games have been downloaded more than 50 million times and have brought in revenues topping 50 million dollars. These titles will remain live and will now be supported by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games. The latest title from the company Golf Clash has managed to ascend the ladder and become the top grossing title in the United States, as well as in the international market.

TT Games was created in 2005 when Giant Interactive and Traveller’s Tales merged. Today, the company is comprised of various development studios, including TT Fusion and television production company TT Animation. In 2007, Warner Bros. acquired TT Games.
