Alo Tennessee And Goodman Manufacturing Company Schedule Layoffs In Tennessee

This week, two companies filed WARN notices with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development. On June 5, 2019, Goodman Manufacturing Company submitted a WARN notice alerting the office that it would soon be carrying out a permanent layoff. In total, the company expects to permanently lay off 9 workers on August 2, 2019.

The company’s facility is located at 1810 Wilson Parkway in Fayetteville, Tennessee. These workers are represented by a collective bargaining unit. The full WARN notice has been made available here. The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development has also received a WARN notice from Alo Tennessee.

In the letter, Alo explains that it will be conducting a permanent closure beginning on August 30, 2019 and ending on December 27, 2019. It is expected that 100 workers will be impacted by the closure. The company’s facility is located at 101 Alo Boulevard in Telford, Tennessee.
