This week, Alorica Inc. submitted a WARN notice with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. The letter explains that the company will be permanently closing its Lafayette facility in the coming months.
The facility is located at 181 Sagamore Parkway South. The closing will take place between September 27 and October 31, 2019. As a result of the impending closure, the company will be laying off 147 workers. The majority of those workers is classified as operations customer service representatives.
