On Thursday, January 4, 2018, a Clarksburg, West Virginia man admitted to health care fraud. The announcement was made by United States Attorney Bill Powell. 52-year-old Kenneth Boyles pled guilty to a single count of Health Care Fraud. The defendant admitted to falsely reporting symptoms associated with his services in the United States Army Reserves to the Veterans Health Administration with the intention of fraudulently collecting more than $224,000 in benefits.
The crime took place from 2008 to 2017 in Harrison county. Again, Kenneth Boyles pleaded guilty to a single count of Health Care Fraud. Additional details can be found here.
