Today, May the 31st, Digital Health Corp confirmed they had acquired Constant Therapy. Digital Health Corp is a diversified healthcare company that offers affordable therapy solutions, so patients can recover in the comfort of their own home. The privately held Constant Therapy develops mobile solutions to treat patients that have experienced a stoke, learning disorder, aphasia, or traumatic brain injury. Details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Constant Therapy designs mobile applications that can accommodate continuous therapy for patients suffering from memory, cognition, language, and speech disorders. The company was created as a result of Professor Swathi Kiran’s groundbreaking research at his Boston University laboratory. Today, the company’s tools are recognized by rehabilitation institutions that treat stroke survivors, those struggling with dementia, and even victims of traumatic brain injury.

The company’s portfolio of products includes 65 task categories expanding over 100,000 exercises. The tools give patients the opportunity to complement their in-clinic therapy on their own time and in the comfort of their own home. The at-home therapy can be carried out in conjunction with in-clinic therapy or after it has concluded. After the acquisition is finalized, Constant Therapy will be rebranded as The Learning Corp. The acquisition will help to accelerate Digital Health Corp’s desire to provide customized therapy solutions and to improve the patient’s recovery at home. More details can be found here.
