dlhBowles is a manufacturer of automotive fluid management and systems components. On August 9, 2017, the company submitted a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services. According to the WARN notice, dlhBowles will be shutting down its plant at 300 Industrial Drive SW in Carrollton, Ohio. The closure is expected to take place on March 31, 2018.

The facility will be closed permanently, leading to the layoffs of roughly 94 workers. dlhBowles expects the reductions to take place in groups. Depending on the company’s needs, some businesses will remain until the facility’s closure. None of the employees are represented by a union and therefore have no bumping rights.

69 of the positions impacted were direct labor positions. According to the company’s official website, it operates several manufacturing and distribution locations in North American with sales and technical centers in Ohio, Michigan, and Maryland. The company also has two sites in Mexico and one in Italy.
