Flex Carries Out Permanent Layoffs In Memphis, Tennessee

This week, Flex submitted a WARN notice with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development. The letter explains that the company has carried out permanent layoffs at its Memphis, Tennessee facility. The layoffs took place on October 24, 2019. the facility is located at 6380 East Holmes Road in Memphis.

The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development was notified on November 12, 2019. In total, the company laid off 280 workers. The layoffs will be permanent and the employees are not represented by a collective bargaining agreement. Therefore, they will not have access to bumping rights.
