NortonLifeLock Inc, which was formerly known as Symantec Corporation, has submitted a WARN notice with the Oregon Office of Workforce Investments. The letter explains that the company will be permanently eliminating positions at its Springfield, Oregon facility. That facility is located 555 International Way in Springfield.
The workers were notified on November 13, 2019. The anticipated termination date is January 17, 2020 and those layoffs are expected to be permanent. In total, the company will be laying off 46 employees. These workers are not represented by a union so bumping rights do not exist.
