PNC Bank has submitted a WARN notification with the Ohio Office Of Workforce Development. The letter explains that the company plans to displace workers at their Customer Care Center. The Care Center is located at 4661 East Main Street in Columbus Ohio. PNC Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of the PNC Financial Services Group Inc. The company has a retail bank business, which has roughly 2,600 branches across 19 states and the District of Columbia.
The letter explains that PNC employs more than 11,000 individuals in the state of Ohio. The Customer Care Center employees approximately 2,200 individuals. In accordance with the company’s ongoing growth and expansion plans, management of the Customer Care Center has decided to convert the Columbus location into a virtual work site by the end of the year.
