Earlier this week, Prinsco submitted a WARN notification to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development. The letter explains that Prinsco Inc. intends to permanently cease production and close its Appleton, Wisconsin plant. The plant is located at 510 North Lilas Drive. The closure is the result of the company’s decision to consolidate manufacturing at other locations. The company will be relocating its warehouse and yard operations to a new site in Wisconsin.
As a result, it is anticipated that 33 positions will be eliminated. Those layoffs are expected to begin on February 4, 2019 and continue until the plant and yard operations are relocated by January 2020. The full WARN notice can be found here.
