Starz subscribers have access to some of the best content in the world, including Black Sails, Outlander, and a whole variety of movies. In December of 2016, the Starz app was named one of the best apps by Apple. And, it has ranked in the Top 10 for Entertainment Top Grossing on iTunes since it was released to the public in April of 2016. Starz, which is a Lionsgate company, wants to make their subscription service and app even more popular. They’ll attempt to lure in more subscribers by releasing the second season of The Missing on February the 12th. The release will coincide with the show’s network premiere.
The Missing has been named as one of the 25 Most Anticipated TV Shows of 2017 by Rolling Stone magazine. The show was written by Jack and Harry Williams, who are most notable for One of Us and Fleabag. The series was directed by Ben Chanan, who recently worked on The Last Kingdom and Cyberbully. The first episode of The Missing’s second installment will be made available nationwide and for free on February the 6th. The episode will be accessible through the Starz app, as well as through the company’s official website.
