Last week, Teradata submitted a WARN notification with the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services. The letter explains that Teradata Corporation will be permanently closing its headquarters facility. The facility is located in the Miami Township at 10000 Innovative Drive. The facility’s mailing address is located in Dayton, Ohio. The decision is expected to be permanent and it will impact 267 of 306 employees currently working at the facility.
The company will be offering 39 employees the opportunity to continue working in the area. Their salary and benefits will not change. Once the Dayton facility is closed, these workers will be exclusively virtual and will no longer be working from the aforementioned location. Teradata is also offering 202 of the employees the opportunity to relocate to other company locations in the United States.
None of the employees are represented by a labor organization. Therefore, they will not have bumping rights. The full WARN notification has been made available here.
