Earlier this month, Tri-Starr Management Services Inc. submitted a WARN with the Ohio Department of Workforce Development. The letter explains that the company will be stopping operations at its Jeffersonville, Indiana facility. That facility is located at 1251 Port Road.
The entire operation at the facility will cease and the action is expected to be permanent. Employee separations are expected to begin during the 14-day period starting on March 8, 2020. In total, it is anticipated that 257 workers will be laid off due to the closure.
135 of those workers are classified as operators while 57 are packers. Some of the impacted employees are represented by a union. There are no bumping rights for Tri-Starr employees at this facility. The full WARN can be found here.
