Winnebago (NYSE: WGO) is one of the leading manufacturers of recreational vehicles. The American company is based out of Forest City, Iowa. This month, Winnebago Industries submitted a WARN notice with the Oregon Office of Workforce Investments. The letter explains that the company intends to close its Junction City, Oregon facility in the near future.
The plant is located at 135 East 1st Avenue in Junction City. The permanent closure will take place between the dates of April 5, 2019 and June 14, 2019. The entire plant will be impacted. The workers do not have access to bumping rights. The layoffs are expected to begin on April 5, 2019 and finish on June 14, 2019.
